I'm loving...time with friends. We went to yet another Fall festival over the weekend. Although it wasn't really Fall weather, we had a blast. After the festival we all went to a Hibachi restaurant for Melissa's birthday.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I'm loving...another Mom's Night Out. This month we celebrated Jennifer and Melissa's birthdays. These girls are like the sisters I never had!

I'm loving...fall festivals! Our city had a parade and festival on Saturday that Jordan, Ashish, and I attended. It was unbelievably crowded but Jordan had a great time!

I'm loving...time with grandparents. Jordan loves spending time with my dad and I love seeing them together!

I'm loving...bonfires! We had dinner with Ashish's cousin, Samit, and his wife, Whitney on Sunday night. They served yummy tacos and for dessert Samit lit the fire pit and we made s'mores!

As always, I'm loving these two...

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I'm Loving...that this little guy LOVES school! I loved school growing up so I can't imagine why he wouldn't love it also!

I'm Loving...good times with friends! Ashish and I met up with our friends, Mike and Melissa, to have dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. We all ate entirely too much, but it was so good!

I'm Loving...my new job! My friend Ashley offered me an opportunity to make money, continue to stay home,  and be able to hangout with Jordan after school. I am watching her 3 month old baby girl, Madelyn, and her 2 year old, Lorelei. The week has gone well, thus far, and I couldn't be happier!

I'm Loving...the book Don't Make Me Count to Three by Ginger Plowman. Ashish and I have been having a difficult time with Jordan. I would even go so far as to say he is in the "terrible twos" stage of life. So, while at the bookstore picking up a book,  I came across Don't Make Me Count to Three, I was immediately drawn in. I'll let you guys know how it is.

I'm LOVING...that my brother got married on Friday! They've been planning since December and the wedding was beautiful!

I'm LOVING...that this little guy started preschool yesterday!

I'm LOVING...that Ashish and I were able to celebrate another anniversary!
I'm LOVING...the cooler weather. I think I've "loved" this for a couple weeks now but Fall is definitely in the air! I can do without the rain that we've had for the past 3days but I do like the cool air. Fall wardrobe, here we come!

I'm LOVING...my Aunt Connie! My Aunt Connie is
a second mom to me, she and my mom are sisters. I love love love when I get to spend time with her. She came in town for Avery's wedding and stayed with us!

Anniversary

Ashish and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday! I am big into all things birthday, holiday, and anniversary but this year it kinda snuck up on us. We have been busy preparing for my brother's wedding, he got married on Friday, and unfortuantely forgot about our own nupituals. How is that for taking one for the team? LOL!

I woke up feeling like poo. I had been fighting a cold for the past week. I prayed that it wouldn't hit me too hard until after the wedding. Thank goodness my prayers were answered! Our anniversary started off with a visit to my parent's house. I still had family in town from my brother's wedding, they were leaving, so we dropped by to say "goodbye." We then went to Target. Jordan is going to be starting preschool tomorrow and he needed a new lunch box and backpack. From there we went to have wings at one of my favorite wing places. From there, we came home and everyone slept. I can't usually sleep during the day but because I was feeling less then fabulous, I gladly took a nap. I woke up feeling a little bit better so Ashish and I decided to go out to dinner.

We went to one of our favorite restaurants,The Melting Pot. My parents offered to watch Jordan for us, so off we went. The food was DELICIOUS! I was so glad that my nose decided to be decongested long enough for me to taste the great meal! All in all, we had yet another great  anniversary.

What I Learned About Marriage-Year Two
  • Our differences are what brought us together.
  • Despite how much we try, date nights will get put on the back burner.
  • You gotta keep things interesting!
  • I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams. Ashish is so very good to me.

“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6
